It is expected that the Trade and Transportation Corridors initiative will invest about $2 billion in this improvement. It will likely continue to improve the trade facilitation between Canada and the United States, especially with the number of exports that are completed from Canada to America.
With effective and efficient travel in these trucks, there will also be strong warehouses for all needs in these industries With more than 80% of U.S. exports being made to Canada, there is much to gain from the management of these warehouse in both nations. Part of this is the food and beverage processing industry, mostly the logistics that ensure quality shipping of all these products across long distances. This is one of the largest industries, worth more than $105 billion in 2014.
