In fact, 78 percent of consumers will drop any intended purchase into the trash if customer service was not to their liking. You want it to be good because doing good means that customers will spend as much as 140 percent more than badly managed customers. It matters so much that customers have even admitted they would pay for better customer service, as much as 86 percent to be specific!
